Stunning ever changing views of Loch Earn towards Edinample castle, towering mountains, Ospreys fishing in front of our 250ft loch garden, a local sea plane taking off and landing, watersports centre, 2 hotels and a cafe, best Post Office in the world, local shop owner knows about birds, deer and pheasants visit the back garden, oyster catchers, Canadian geese and mallards feed on the shore garden daily (usually from our hands), neighbours adjoining have red squirrels in the forest and fresh eggs to offer(delicious), we live in a 300 year old thatched cottage on the 2 acre grounds once owned by MacGregors, the Duke of Breadalbane and 2 centuries of McLarens and will show you our cruck timber ceiling (having it re-thatched by Peter Brugge master thatchers as I type), the area is steeped in history and folklore, Wordsworth, Rob Roy MacGregor, Walter Scott and Queen Victoria loved the surrounding countryside, there are no street lights which means romantic starry moonlit nights when its clear......... there's too much to tell, come and see or check out www.stayatbriar.co.uk for more.
